Lighting a bedroom
Bedrooms need less light than you might think, but in the right places. Put a lamp or wall light on each side of the bed, keep the overhead light soft and shaded, and choose warm-white bulbs. Alabaster and fabric shades are especially gentle at night.
What color temperature is best for a bedroom?
Warm white, around 2700K, is the most comfortable in the evening. Most of our fixtures take standard bulbs, so you can choose the warmth yourself; the bulb type is listed on each product page.
