Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover — as well as PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments and are encrypted with SSL.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes — but you must contact us within 48 hours of placing your order. Email info@brillilume.com with your order number and we will do our best to accommodate your request. After 48 hours, your order may already be in the shipping queue and cannot be recalled or modified.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. You will receive an automated confirmation email immediately after placing your order. A second email with your tracking number will be sent once your order has been dispatched — typically within 3–7 business days of ordering. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Is it safe to enter my credit card information on your site?
Absolutely. Our checkout is powered by Shopify, which uses industry-standard SSL encryption and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing. We never see or store your full credit card number — all payment data is handled directly by the payment processor.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state laws. The exact amount will be shown before you confirm your purchase. No surprise charges after checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Standard Shipping (Free): 4–6 weeks total from order date to delivery for US customers. This includes 1–3 business days of processing and 25–42 business days of international transit.
Expedited Shipping: 1–3 weeks total. Cost is calculated at checkout based on your order value.

Our products ship from manufacturing facilities in Asia. The longer lead time is a normal part of the process — your order is carefully prepared and quality-checked before dispatch.
Is shipping free to the United States?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on all orders to the contiguous United States — no minimum purchase required. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost, calculated at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to Canada, the UK, most EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and more. Free standard shipping is available to many of these regions. Please check your country at checkout to see available shipping options and costs.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your shipment at 17track.net. Please allow 3–5 business days after dispatch for tracking data to update in the system. If you have trouble tracking your order, email us at info@brillilume.com with your order number.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import fees?
For US, Canada, and EU customers on Standard Shipping: Import duties and taxes are covered by our logistics partners — you will not be charged at delivery (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid).
For Expedited Shipping or other regions: Your shipment may be subject to local import duties and VAT, which are the responsibility of the recipient and collected by local customs.

My package shows "Delivered" but I haven't received it. What do I do?
First, check around your front door, mailbox, and with neighbors — carriers sometimes leave packages in unexpected spots. If it's still missing, contact us within 7 days at info@brillilume.com with your order number. We will file a carrier trace on your behalf and work to resolve the situation.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Address changes can be made within 3 calendar days of placing your order. Email info@brillilume.com as soon as possible. Once the item is in transit, rerouting may incur carrier fees which are the customer's responsibility.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging with all accessories included. To start a return, email info@brillilume.com with your order number — we'll send you a return authorization and instructions. See our full Refund & Return Policy.
Who pays for return shipping?
Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable carrier.
Defective or damaged items: We cover return shipping. Please contact us with photos of the damage before sending anything back, and we will arrange reimbursement of your shipping cost.

How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7–14 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
My item arrived damaged or broken. What should I do?
We're sorry to hear that. Please take clear photos of the damage and the packaging, and email them to info@brillilume.com within 7 days of delivery along with your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, and we will cover the return shipping.
Can I return a light fixture after I've installed it?
Unfortunately, no. Items must be uninstalled and in their original condition to be eligible for return. Once a fixture has been wired or mounted, it is considered used and cannot be returned unless it is defective.
Products
Do your products work with dimmer switches?
Dimmer compatibility varies by product. Please check the individual product page for specifications. As a general rule, you will also need a compatible dimmable bulb — standard LED bulbs may flicker on dimmer circuits. If you have a specific compatibility question, email us before ordering.
What bulbs do I need? Are they included?
Bulb requirements (base type, wattage, quantity) are listed on each product page. Bulbs are generally not included unless explicitly stated in the product listing. We recommend using LED bulbs for energy efficiency and longer lifespan.
Are your products certified safe for use in the US?
Our lighting fixtures are designed in accordance with standard US electrical safety practices. Specific certification information (such as UL or ETL listing) is noted on individual product pages where applicable. We recommend checking the product details for your specific fixture, and always having ceiling fixtures installed by a licensed electrician.
Will the colors look exactly like the photos?
We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, colors can appear slightly different on screen depending on your monitor's calibration, brightness, and color settings. Finishes like brushed gold, antique brass, or matte black can also look subtly different in different lighting conditions. If color accuracy is critical for your project, contact us for more details.
Do you offer custom or made-to-order lighting?
Yes, we offer interior lighting design consultation and customization services for larger projects. Please visit our Contact page to get in touch with our team. Note that custom and personalized orders cannot be returned once production begins.
Installation
Do I need a licensed electrician to install a chandelier or ceiling light?
Yes, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed electrician for any hardwired ceiling installation, including chandeliers, pendant lights, and ceiling lights. This is not just a safety issue — in many US states, electrical work done without a permit or by an unlicensed person may affect your homeowner's insurance coverage. Table lamps and floor lamps can be set up by anyone.
Does my chandelier come with installation instructions and hardware?
Yes. All hardwired fixtures include mounting hardware and a printed instruction guide. If your instruction manual is missing or unclear, email us at info@brillilume.com with your order number and product name and we will send a digital copy.
What ceiling height do I need for a chandelier?
A general rule for dining rooms: hang the bottom of the chandelier 30–36 inches above the tabletop. For open entryways and living rooms, the bottom of the fixture should be at least 7 feet above the floor. Most chandeliers include an adjustable chain or rod so you can set the right hanging height for your space.
Can I hang a chandelier from a standard ceiling junction box?
It depends on the weight of the fixture. Standard junction boxes are typically rated for fixtures up to 35 lbs. Heavier chandeliers require a fan-rated or structural junction box mounted directly to a ceiling joist. Always check your fixture's weight against the product specifications and consult an electrician if you're unsure.
